What's going on with the goats today?
Day 9, only a small crew on the dam in Woonsocket today (13), thunderstorms are likely. These big guys are loving the buffet though !
We have had an extended 4th of July vacation while our transportation was in the shop for repair. We did get interviewed by RI Monthly online magazine! check out the article http://www.rimonthly.com/Blogs/ridaily/July-2015/Landscaping-Goats-in-Rhode-Island/
We are FAMOUS goats now! (at least locally)
Day 8 at the dam in Woonsocket, RI. and the goats have moved on to another section. They removed 20 years of overgrown brush in 7 days! It was a little over 1/4 acre with approximately 25 goats each day. The new area they began only has 3 years of growth so it will go even more quickly. The goats are home now until Monday 7/6/2015 for the 4th of July holiday.
Day 7 at the dam in Woonsocket ! The goats have all but completed the first section. They plan to move to the outside of the fence this afternoon, this section will go fast!
Day 6 at the Dam at Harris pond, Woonsocket, RI. The goats have made short work of the most densely covered area. We can actually see down and walk along the fence line. My three big guys , Isaac, Tanner and Thor are working the outside , parking lot side of the fence today.
